When I heard the news my first thought was to grab a legal pad and jot down some of Hank’s favorite things:

• Barking at squirrels and the Amazon guy;

• Scheming to get a bite of whatever I had smoking on the Traeger;

• Roughhousing with his siblings;

• Shaking his head hard enough to cover the walls with slobber;

• Stealing my seat on the couch;

• A pup cup from Starbuc…
